HOW TO BECOME A REFEREE

• Complete the following FORM
• Register for a course on RefCenter
• Important: Potential referees who submit the form and take the course will then be considered for assignments. Those who only register only on RefCenter will be a top priority for assignments.

 

RETURNING REFEREES

• Returning referees will receive information directly from Ontario Soccer. To encourage early registration, Ontario Soccer offers a discount.

 

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be over the age of 14 on or before March 31st of this year
• Mature adults are welcomed as well
• Referee uniform (shirt, shorts and socks, set of assistant referee flags, whistle with lanyard, red/yellow card set and game report sheets). The uniform can be purchased through our supplier, or you can secure one on your own. Approximate cost of the full kit $100.

 

CSA ENTRY LEVEL COURSE

If you are 14 years of age on or before March 31st of this year, you are eligible to complete the CSA Entry Level Course offered by Ontario Soccer. Participants are required to complete all online modules, pass a written test and attend an on-field practical session.
