Winter Men's Competitive Soccer

Last updated: Aug 2019

Program Description

The Ottawa TFC men's competitive players will train twice weekly (once in the morning, and once on weeknight), and play games in the Ottawa TFC men's competitive league (7v7) on Tuesday nights.  This "league" sees all of the most competitive players in the club playing in a high level 7v7 game environment once weekly as the base of their training.

Competitve men's players can sign up for the 7v7 league only, or if accepted, join the men's first team outright, training and playing each week. To join the first team, players must get approval from Chris Engbers

Program Details

Level of Play:

Ottawa TFC Men's League - This competitive 7v7 league is comprised of all of the most talented adult players in the entire program.

All competitive players are encouraged to participate, in this  weekly, games based workout.

Depending on the number of registrants, teams will be made via a player "draft" using team captains.  A league champion will be crowned at the mid way point, at which time a new draft may be held.

Evaluations:

Players 2003 or older who played competitive soccer for Ottawa TFC in the summer of 2019 may register directly for the league.

Any other players must contact Chris Engbers prior to registering.  Such players may be required to attend an evaluation session prior to registering.  This is to keep the level of play in the league as high and consistent as possible.
